JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
We are searching for a detail-orientated calibration technician to join our technical staff.
In this role, you will carry out inspections, calibrations, and repairs on equipment and specialized tools.
You will also be responsible for identifying faulty equipment and suggesting upgrades when necessary.
To be successful as a calibration technician, you should have a good eye for detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and above-average troubleshooting skills.
Ultimately a top-class calibration technician will work quickly and methodically to ensure equipment is safe for operation and calibrated to the industry standards.

Will be required to travel up to 10% of the time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Performing routine equipment maintenance.
Calibrating equipment to industry standards, either in-house or through external calibration supplier.
Troubleshooting equipment failures.
Conducting equipment repairs.
Maintaining calibration equipment and supplies.
Completing job cards and equipment report
Inspect, perform, and document calibrations according to company policies and procedures.
Keep equipment operating within specified ranges according to manufacturer’s specifications.
Assure that equipment is calibrated and maintained according to ISO, government, and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of calibrations and product changes.
Resolve calibration issues with accuracy of measurement and compliance with specifications.
Perform other duties as assigned
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
A high school diploma or GED.
Relevant industry certification.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a calibration technician.
Extensive experience with equipment maintenance and repairs.
Advanced troubleshooting skills.
Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Competency with calibration software.
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
