Draftsman

*Mechanical Draftsman* Job Brief Mechanical draftsman will prepare drawing layouts and parts list that show the details for a wide variety of machinery and tooling.
These layouts indicate dimensions, fastening methods, and other requirements needed for assembly.

Duties and Responsibilities Draws and models equipment for fabrication, machining, and assembly of detailed components and assemblies.
Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software SolidWorks.
Work from pre-production/conceptual drawings and specifications created by engineers.
Help design products with engineering and manufacturing techniques in mind.
Technical and sales order support.
Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products.
Work under the supervision of an engineering lead.
Must have great attitude and work ethic.
Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
Compliance with all safety rules and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Good communications skills.
Working knowledge of standard drafting policies/procedures.
Experience with Inventor and/or Solid Works 2015.
Experience creating product drawings.
Proficient in 3D CAD Software (Solid Works) and Microsoft Office.
Extensive knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
Impeccable attention to detail.
Ability to take good direction.
