This RAD will be working in the Midwest Regions of Redi Carpet (Kansas City, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Chicago, and Detroit).
Must have extensive Multifamily (apartment industry) connections!
Position Summary
A Redi Carpet Regional Account Director is responsible for identifying, managing and growing new and existing business with key accounts.
They act as a representative for the region, communicating and building mutually beneficial relationships with key customers and prospects in order to help Redi Carpet meet and exceed the region’s budgeted sales and profit objectives.
This position reports directly to the Regional Vice President.
Responsibilities (include, but not limited to the following)
Identify and develop opportunities for increased business with existing regional customers
Identify and develop new opportunities with regional key accounts
Assist Director of National Accounts in developing new business as needed
Assist Director of National Accounts with RFP requests from Regional and National accounts
Support all regional and national account programs
Travel regionally and meet with key customers and prospective new accounts
Participate in branch sales meetings when available
Participate in regional key account functions
Be actively involved in local and state trade associations and trade shows within the region
Manage projects as requested by immediate supervisor
Important Goals and Deadlines
Meet annual productivity goal as defined by Regional VP
Provide monthly activity report with targets and accomplishments
Qualifications
5+ years of measurable sales success on a regional or national scale in the multifamily industry
Ability to spend up to 50% of time traveling
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Proven ability to set and achieve goals
Highly energetic and organized
Outstanding positive attitude
Excellent communication skills and ability to relate with people at all levels of an organization
