*Overview* We are looking for passionate, energetic individuals who enjoy driving, working with their hands, and who enjoy selling and providing exceptional customer service.
You will be responsible for operating a CDL class A/B vacuum-tanker truck to perform service and repairs on and to pump out septic systems, as well as diagnose any issues with the system and present various options for solutions to the customer.
This position is full-time, and is based on a 10 hour shift 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri) from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Some overtime and weekends may be required with advance notice.
*Responsibilities* - Operate a CDL Class A/B vacuum tanker truck to various assigned locations on schedule - Build and maintain positive relationships with customers - Upsell and promote additional products/services to customers - Perform services, repairs and maintenance on septic systems as required - Collect payments from customers and manage payment transactions - Communicate any customer issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor - Follow all safety protocols and adhere to traffic laws while driving - Complete necessary paperwork and reports accurately and in a timely manner *Skills* - Commercial driving experience with a valid Kansas Class A/B driver's license, including tanker endorsement - Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional service - Basic math skills for handling payment transactions and managing inventory - Ability to upsell and communicate effectively with customers - Organizational skills to manage routes, schedules, and paperwork efficiently - Sales-oriented mindset with the drive to meet or exceed sales targets - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work outside in various weather conditions - Able to lift 50 lbs.
