The Company focuses on providing laboratory equipment, chemicals, supplies and services used in healthcare, scientific research, safety, and education.
*Job Description: * * One of our cur clients subsidary business segment supports the Customer Channels Group, which provides critical outsourced on-site services at customer locations.
* This position will provide order management support for a biotechnology company that develops, manufactures, and markets proprietary medications with applications in life-sciences.
*Discover Impactful Work: * * This position is primarily passionate about customer service as well as inventory management aspects of Managed Services.
* This position will utilize the advanced functionality of systems and applications such as: ULSIM, Mainframe, SAP, and the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
* Customer interface communication skills are required.
*Activities could include: * * Stockroom/POU management, and direction/coordination of affiliated stockroom activities.
Data integrity and attention to detail are paramount.
*A Day in the Life: * * Pending position placement, other activities may include the following customer service aspects of Managed Services: order entry, order expediting, customer service call resolution, return goods authorization, processing of backorders, vendor and customer interaction, and problem resolution.
* Follows well-defined procedures as outlined by Best Practices, SOPs & work instructions.
* Take direction from the Team Lead and/or Regional Supervisor regarding daily duties.
* Makes decisions and applies available resources to meet customer requirements, independently.
* Communicate with the Team Lead and/or supervisor any customer issues or potential problems and may help determine solutions.
* Promotes personal growth and development by staying abreast of new policies and improvements without the presence of a site trainer and management team.
* Listens to customer concerns, optimally diffuses dissatisfaction, and quickly identifies course of action with a goal of first call resolution within established turnaround times * Works effectively with a diverse cross-functional team.
* Accepts Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies.
* Applies basic systems or performs the functions stated below: * Operates various Client’s handheld devices that include: Requisition & Inventory Management System (ULS IM) barcode scanner input device.
* Access & apply Client’s Intranet and SharePoint document management system.
* Always represent Client’s throughout customer locations, professionally and positively.
* Address other duties as assigned.
*Keys to Success: * *Education * * Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
* Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
* Maintains Client’s Four-I Values.
*Experience * * 6 months of Inventory management experience * 6 months of customer service *Knowledge, Skills, Abilities * * Must possess a strong desire to serve the customer, and the interpersonal skills to deal with various levels of personnel at the customer site.
* Must always be customer-focused to deliver excellent customer service including maintaining a professional appearance.
* Must possess the operating skills to use handheld scanners and learn to enter data in various systems as necessary.
* Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed.
* Must be proficient with a computer and the Microsoft Office suite of software.
